At 6 feet tall and 200 pounds, Levi lacked confidence. When his counselor at the Sherwood, Oregon camp asked Levi to participate in the variety show that evening, he shook his head. “I can’t.”
At the Nitro challenge, Levi struggled to hang on to the rope because of his size. His entire team shouted encouragement and worked together to help him conquer the giant of defeat.
When Levi made it, a grin spread to his ears. “This is the best day of my life.”
That night, a confident Levi ran onto the stage. Under a canopy of evergreens stretching into the sky, he belted out a song that wowed staff and campers alike. The smile never left his face.
